Aug 12, 201016 yr So I finished all the nursing classes up today, and I know that the FCCA and CPNE come next, but in what order, how long will I have to wait before I am eligible, etc? What should I expect over the next few days to weeks?
Aug 12, 201016 yr Congratulations!!! if you are within 10 credits (general educ) you are both fcca & cpne eligible. If you want to speed things up give them a call & pay for the fcca. They will offer you a window of a few days in which you will receive it & then give you a deadline to return it. Good luck and continued success!
Aug 12, 201016 yr Author I am actually on the Excelsior college payment plan, so I do not have to pay for it. I called today, but they weren't really informative. That's why I thought I'd ask here.

Do you think you will take a CPNE workshop? I am thinking about east coast Tina,

Aug 14, 201016 yr Author I know how you feel I am in the same spot, reality hasn't set in yet. We can do thisI signed up for NPAC what about you?Looks like we'll be at the same site together at the same time, because I signed up for the NPAC too! I am hoping to be able to go to Queens. I know where that hospital is, I am familiar with the bus/Subway system in Queens, and would feel confident in my abilities to get around. My sister is a flight attendant, so getting a cheap flight won't be a problem at all. However, I'll take any spot that will get me on course to become an RN sooner! :)
Aug 14, 201016 yr I will pm you my date and site when I get, maybe we will test at same time. have you started with the cpne study guide yet, I am going to print it, it will be easier for me to review it.

Aug 14, 201016 yr I am going to order the flashcards also from excelsior, I heard they were great. I also hope I test at queens, its only 1 hour from where I live and then I wont need to stay at a hotel, On the CPNE application I put down I need 3 months to study, so I will take whatever NPAC site available.
