What a week, just a vent!

You know they always say everything comes in 3's. If a patient dies, more than likely you will have 2 more die that same week. Well I really believe that bad luck comes in 3's. Yesterday my daughter cut her thumb on some glass. Had to make a trip to the doctor. No stiches thank goodness! Today I cut my leg on a metal sponge mop that was hanging on the wall. It was a tiny cut, but it really bruised and is sore. Would you know, I hit the same mop an hour later and cut myself bad that time. I left a 2 inch gash in my leg with bruising. My kids were wondering why I was balling my eyes out! Then to top it off, my daughter fell and hit my son in the mouth with the back of her head. She knocked his tooth loose and it was bleeding very bad. He was screaming! Thank goodness it was only a baby tooth. If you are still reading, thanks for letting me vent. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day! What else could go wrong.:o

Yeah, I agree with the rule of 3's. I"m sorry you had a bad week. At our work, in the past 3 weeks, two different co-workers places burned down and they both lost everything. We're waiting for the third, and everyone's avoiding matches.

Sometimes things happen and we don't give them a second thought. Other times tough we may be a bit vulnerable and little things become significant. You had a rough time, but try to remember the good things that occurred as well to keep things in perspective.

I agree with the others, and might I add that you should think about moving that durn mop!

I hope you have a better day tomorrow! Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Offers hugs and a bowl of chicken soup. My grandma always did that, then got me talking about something besides what was bothering me and before I knew it that bad stuff didn't seem really all that bad anymore. Once my mood lifted she would help me figure how to prevent the bad thing from happening again. Oh yeh, she was a nurse too.

Thanks for all the kind words. I appreciate it! Oh, and I threw the mop away!

That stuff always happens when my husband is gone on a trip, and I am the only one dealing with it!
