Yeah... That's the response I get about everything I post. It's already been discussed, do a search. I think everything here has been discussed. I guess I'll just stop posting, or I'll find another board.

The suggestion to do a search in most cases is a good one and is not made to discourage revisiting the topic. If a topic has been discussed recently, re-posting it may not get many responses which can be especially frustrating for the poster.

Allnurses has been in operation for more than six years, the number of threads numbers in the tens of thousands. Often it can seem like everything has already been discussed. In reality very few topics have been "done to death" but doing a search and reading the previous discussions many times provides the answers the poster was looking for, leads to new questions or perspectives and a fresh discussion.
