Graduated in Nursing in 2008. No job since.

Work full-time as a Supervisor in a Grocery Store

Want to join the military.

Thinking about BSN TO P.A.

But want to join the military and work for the government.

Possible wanting to work in Wound Care.

I am in good shape-physically, mentally, financially. I also have a dry reckless on my driving record from almost 8 years ago.

Question?

What is a good path way now that I am older? I presume diligence would be a key factor. I also do a lot of acting, directing, and production assisting on the side with my local church. That is something creative I like to do. Should I continue my pursuit in nursing? Again I plan on starting this fall as I already have signed up for some classes. Or should I just "enlist" in the army/airforce/navy. I am too old for the Marines :( Thank you in advance for any intuitions/guiding assistance

I would enlist if you are serious about it and they will take you. You can get some training and $$$ for college. Did you pass the NCLEX? If so why haven't you worked as a nurse since 2008?

To answer your question.......Yes...I did pass the NCLEX and have it renewed and keep it active every time it is about to expire. Well, I do not pass the interviews. One person said I was "too skinny" and if I was "able to lift up a patient?!" That is just one incident. I think I do not do good on the interviews. I have applied out of state and just fell into working at my full time job I guess. But I always try and that is what I am thinking..bsn and possible enlisting. That was nice of you to respond.
