What does it say on your transcript if you take classes through EduKan?

Published

Has anyone who has taken a class through EduKan tell me what it says specifically for any course on the transcript?

I'm a little worried because on one class I'm taking through them, it says this on my Home College's unofficial transcript:

Course/Section and Title Grade Credits CEUs Repeat Term

BIOL-213 E3 Microbiology 10FAE3

I'm assuming "E" stands for EduKan? And the "3" stands for the Session. Does this show up on the official transcript?

Is there a mention of even a lab at least on the transcript?

Anyone know?

Thanks!

I know this reply is way late, but I just ran across this post, and just in case you or someone else still wants to know, I read another post on this site that was talking about how transcripts would not indicate the courses being online courses. I dont know this for sure, but this is what they said and what I read in the thread. They had taken courses via Edukan and knew firsthand it seemed.

Hi, I have the same concern. Their course title does not have a lab it actually they do require students to do lab activities. The post is long time ago and finally did you see ‘lab’ on your EduKan transcript? Where do they specify on the transcript? Is it at an obvious place on the transcript? Thank you a lot!

It is a good idea, for all courses one takes, to get a copy of the applicable college catalog and/or make copies of the course descriptions from that catalog. If not in the title, the course description will contain lab inclusion or not.

Hi, thank you. Have ever had a transcript from one of the partner colleges from EduKan? What did it say on the transcript for courses contain labs? Thank you

Not Edukan specifically. Just gave general advice because there can be times when this info is necessary. Sometimes schools/programs actually request that you submit copies of course descriptions from your catalog.

Thank you! They said the same to me
