What is Sata?

Published

Just started my studies for the NCLEX and saw mention of sata questions here. Can someone please explain what they are.

Thanks

SATA is an acronym that stands for a type of question.

S=select

A=all

T=that

A=apply

So SATA = select all that apply. I did not know what it was either till a couple of weeks ago.:D

SATA questions are the ones that showed up on my nursing school tests that, just when I thought "this test isn't so bad" made me say "Oh no, not one of those dang questions!". lol Hopefully the ones on the NCLEX won't be as ambiguous as the one's my instructors created.

Hey I needed a laugh today. My back is screaming from all this sitting and studying. I'm to the point that I find humor in the strangest places. Can you say "stress"? lol :D
