Did you know that baby boomers are moving to Panama? Lots of them, and I forsee a coming health care problem if the trend keeps up. I am considering a move there soon, and I'm wondering how I can contribute. I want to look at a bigger picture here. Those retirees are going to need all kinds of services as they age which I'm not so sure are available yet. Any ideas?

I think the poster means the country of Panama. Also, many of our seniors are moving to Mexico. There is an entire community of them in Chapala, MX. The reason--healthcare. Meds are cheaper, services are cheaper, ect. I have read on their boards that an EKG is around $30US. That could also be the reason they are moving to Panama as well. I will investigate this further. My own mother is looking to move out of the US to be able to afford to live.
