Hi everyone! I'm gonna have an interview on MOnday and I'm sure that many (new) nurses are also about to go through the same thing. So I had an idea about compiling interview questions so we can practice on them. Please list questions asked of you on your interviews. Thanks!

I've only been to one interview last Tuesday - lol - I can't remember everything but I was asked:
What would you do if you were on a night shift and two nurses phoned in sick at the last minute?
How do you balance your home and work life/manage stress?
Various scenario based questions eg, interpreting data (on the spot - very tricky!) and post-op complications like "if someone's sats go down after a thyroidectomy, what would you be looking for and what would you do?"
The questions seemed to get harder and harder if I recall.

yikes! interpreting data?! *freaking out* LOL I mean, yes I learned a lot in school and I do remember it....but I've always been horrible with oral question-answer types ever since I was little. I'll know the answer, and I can write it down...better yet, I can actually do the task and interpret it to make appropriate decisions... but if you ASK me the answer... oh boy.
I graduate this may...and now I'm gettin nervous.... any tips??

I posted some interview questions about a week ago. The post should be a little further down. Some interviews seem like interrogations and some seem a little more relaxed. Good luck!
