What do I study?

Hello everyone!!! I have a little dilema that I was hoping to get some advice on. I graduated from the LPN program in May 2003, and never went on to take the boards and get my license ( got married, had a kid, etc..). I now want to take my boards, however, I'm scared to death that I can't remember anything and I have no idea what to study from. HELP!!!!!!!! Where do I start?

:welcome: Welcome to these forums!

You may want to start by placing a telephone call to your state's board of nursing to explain your situation to them. Depending on the state in which you're located, you may or may not be eligible to take the exam. I see that 5 years has elapsed since you were last in school.

In my state of residence, a person has approximately 4 years from the date of graduation to pass NCLEX. The person may take NCLEX an unlimited number of times during this 4 year period, but will need to repeat the nursing program once this time frame has elapsed.

And, if they allow you to sit for the exam, I would invest in a review course. Good luck!
