What if this happen to you !!

I had worked at the same facility for25 yrs then 2wks. prior to my 26 th anniversary was terminated.The reason I was told for termination,not attending enough CEO meetings.SERIOUSLY!!.Now here I am 4yrs from being able to get my retirement & no one hiring me.Well that is it,thanx for letting me vent. Oh, by the way be careful my fellow nurses,it could happen to you.

I was let go after 20yrs. A reorganization. I was devastated but as a manager I wasn't part of the clique so all the CNOs suck ups got to stay. There is even more to this story but it would take to long to go into. I was 5 yrs from retirement and lost a great deal. I have moved on in a place where I am not micromanaged and have a work family balance! So I made out in the long run!

The moral of the story is:

GET A LAWYER STAT!!

Many condolences. I hope that you are in a state where you can claim for unfair dismissal. This sort of thing can and does happen to anybody.

The same advice as below- get an attorney ASAP. Do not pass, "GO". Keep on going until you get justice!!

Thanx for the advice,I have beenlooking into hiring an attorney.On the good side ,I have an interveiw with a correctional facility tomorrow.Hope they like and hire me.THANX AGAIN FOR THE SUPPORT !!
