What would you have done differently?

For those in NP school, what would you have done differently leading up to the program? I'm looking to start at Graceland University next summer, if you have any tips/suggestions that you would recommend I would greatly appreciate it. Anything that snuck up on you that if you've know before hand, would have made it easier for you?

I know Pharm and Patho are going to be a bear, do you think it's worth while to start brushing up on that? I'm trying to enjoy the free time that i'll have before school starts, but in the back of my brain I have a voice telling me I should be working on something. Thanks in advance!

Gone to a brick and mortar school.

If you're wanting to review something before starting NP school, then focus on reviewing normal anatomy and physiology as well as microbiology at a provider level. It'll give you a strong foundation to work from when taking pathophysiology and pharmacology.

Are you having to find your own preceptors? If so, that's something you should start thinking about/networking toward.

we do, and I have them lined up already (and backups to the backups).

will do, thanks! micro isn't my strong suit, going to have to spend extra time on that
