What would you do differently?

Anyone have a shot at nursing before and failed out the program? What would you do differently if you could go back? What do you think your mistakes were? Not studying enough? Not paying enough attention? Distractions? Organization?.. Or even if you know someone who failed, what did they say their mistakes were? Alot of us will be starting our programs next month and before we enter, I think itll be good to hear from others who have already experienced this what to do and what not to do.

Well, in our program we last about 1/3 - 1/2 of our class last semester. I passed, but my best study buddy and friend didn't. :( He had a syncopal epidode a day before an exam, which messed up that exam grade pretty significantly. Also, he works an ER secretary on night shift, so he was pulling a lot of work hours and overnights at that. He decided that was his big downfall...working too much. I think everyone that passed last semester cut back their work hours. I know I did and I am much more sane and focused now! Amazingly, everyone with kids made it through...I think they push themselves more and have more to lose than the rest of us. Anyways, hope it helps :)
