it is CPR, you take a course through either american heart association or American red cross.
Oh. lol I already have it then.

BLS = Basic Life Support
ALS = Advanced Life Support
In my humble opinion, it is good to have both certifications on hand. The more you know, the merrier!

In Ohio, they are called "BCLS" and "ACLS" and they're only offered through the American Heart Association. CPR is a different cert here. I'm going for the ACLS in October, which is the next class scheduled at the closest hospital to me. Its $150 plus $30 for the book.
