Which additional cert's do you have?

Where did you get them?

Do you get more money for having them?

Do you know of any online Cert classes or traveling classes?

I mean like ther is a wound care corse that travels from different citiis throughout the year.

I myself am IV Certified and I reacived my cert through Neihborcare RX. I had thought about having my job pay for me to take the wound care class in either NJ or PA since those are the closest sites to me

My job doesn't give an added bonus for my Cert. but they want me to throughout the facility to do IV Therapy. How about that one, crazy isn't it

I have seen the other thread about additional cert's but I wanted to know about your personal experiencesh

I am certified in IV therapy for the elderly and central lines, and I received this certification through APS (American Pharmaceutical Services). My workplace sponsored me, which enabled me to attend at no cost to me. Otherwise, the class would have cost about $400.

I was reading my Advance for LPN's magazine and found so certs we can earn.

Certification in Childbirth Education www.childbirtheducation.org or 1888-344-9972. They had pre/postnatal fitness, lactation consolutant,and a few others. Check them out

Become wound Care Certified www.wci.net or 1-877-Go-2-WCEI. They travel to different locations.

I am so mad that I can't attend the one in Reno,NV on the 31 of July. I would have love to mix business and pleasure. I will be attending the one in Philly on 13 August. Hope to see some of you there:idea:
