I am currently looking into WGU Texas pre-licensure program and would like some insight from anyone that is going through this program or has previously completed the program. What to expect with the online course work/tests and clinicals and pass/fail rate. I am currently an LVN and would like to continue working as I continue on with my studies. Also if anyone knows of any other online bridge programs and wouldn't mind passing the info along it would be appreciated.

HERE are the NCLEX stats for Texas RN programs.... As you can see, WGU is not doing well. If they can't pull up their pass rate, they will be on probation very soon.
I was not aware that WGU had a bridge program. Are you just considering their pre-licensure RN program? If so, you will need have to do your clinical practicums in one of their established locations. Have you investigated bridge programs in your area? Many schools have them now. Texas has a major initiative to support the advancement of nursing education.... take a look at this site. You can get additional information for your region, including any available bridge programs.
Best of luck on advancing your education!

Hey luna_moon,
As far as what a pre-licensure program would entail, I'm not sure. However, I here's a guide on what a typical LVN to BSN program is like:
Inside the LPN to BSN Nursing Programs - LPN to BSN
Are you looking for a bridge program that will take you from LVN to ADN or BSN? Either way, here's two guides on good bridge programs for you.
LPN to RN Programs - LPN to BSN
LPN to BSN Programs - LPN to BSN
Hope that helps!
Thanks for the info :-)
No problem!
