Stars I hadn't heard that about ticks. Will have to be careful, already using repellent due to mosquitos

Hi Ado

NJ22 glad you're feeling better

Tweety I've heard it's avoid caffeine about 8 hours before bed. I remember titrating CBI and it being a pain

Yesterday was pretty good at work, no meetings, nothing unexpected, and not a lot of work although enough that I wasn't bored. Spent a fair amount of time working on the side project, even though I wasn't scheduled, as they needed help there. Took my car in before work for routine maintenance and picked it up again by lunch time

After work stopped at the pharmacy and grocery stores. Rest of the evening was relaxing, watched part of a documentary on PBS on Woodstock

Today nothing unusual going on, am scheduled to work on the side project today, which will take a fair amount of time as there is a lot to do there. Nothing unusual going on after work

Will be quite warm today, in the low 90s, with storms expected, possibly severe. Likely by lunch time will have to get outside and put the car cover on in case of hail

Good Morning!

Joe hope you have a good day today.

I got up at 4:45 and fed Waffles and went back to bed. Woke up two hours later. Still tired but trying to motivate myself to go to hot yoga here soon.

Need to do some meal prep for the next couple of days.

I like the era I'm in: being 67 and mostly healthy with a retirement fund, an emergency fund and no debt but do not like having to work overtime to maintain it while remodeling and doing things around the house. LOL

Stayed up way too late....2:45 AM. Woke up around 6-ish, dozed off and on for a few hours, and then got up to make coffee and came on-line to scroll around. It is now 10:45, and my instinct is to take a shower and wash my hair, but since it takes a while to get things done AFTER the shower and shampoo, that I just now decided to get dressed and start in on more sorting and maybe boxing and/or pre-packing.

I've been thinking of the possible irritations and disappointments that are coming through about living at my friend's house. I need very much to STOP doing that, as I don't want to land in a place of anticipatory dread in my mind. Nothing is ever 'perfect' or ideal, and this is my ticket out of HERE. So maybe it is a temporary fix to my current situation, but still and all, it is a step away from the last 10 years, which I have been NEEDING, as we all know, for quite some time now! It is at the very least a doorway to my future. And as such, it is still a blessing.

And with that prep-talk to myself, I will ACT. Need to git 'er done so I don't wind up in a tizzy of having too much to accomplish in a much shorter time frame! It is only Wednesday but it feels like the weekend is about to start.

CARPE DIEM, Stars!

My obsessive behaviors are undermining me this week. I found a new game app that kept me entertained while I figured out the logic. I think I have figured out as much as I am going to and most of the puzzles are easy now, so it is time to delete that app so I don't waste time doing it.

And I just ate a whole package of LifeSaver gummy candies because no self-control. I will not be in ketosis today or tomorrow for sure!

Woke up and couldn't get back to sleep between 3 and 5.

It can be harrowing trying to keep up with a fast CBI. Would be OK if you didn't have a million other things to do.

Well, huh, whaddya know! I did exactly Jacqk Schidt today. Well, I walked the dog, brushed another tick off my arm, threw away my junque mail. and now I am about to eat something easy for my late supper, and feed Tinker her supper that is so late, she has fallen asleep out of the boredom waiting for me to be a good dawg mama.

Yeah, tomorrow is another day, when I am hoping to be more helpful to myself and my endeavors.

I had a decent day today. Yesterday I laid down for an hour nap and woke up 3 hours later! I blame the dogs. This morning we volunteered at the demo gardens, then stopped for pizza for lunch. I fought the urge for a nap, and pulled weeds and vacuumed instead.

dh took the pickup to get the tires rotated yesterday, and $700 later, we have 2 new tires, a front end alignment and an estimate for new brakes. It needs an oil change, too, but I am little afraid what that will turn up!
