Know the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology about the systems (I got out my A&P and patho notes and freshened up). Read all of every chapter at least once, before lecture. Understand why the signs and symptoms occur, don't just memorize what they are.

That's what I did and I was successful in theory - the tests were nerve-wracking, but not impossible. I learned a lot. Good luck.

Pray!! Seriously know signs and symptoms, about teaching. I also wish I would have reviewed my assessment stuff.

I passed her class but had one heck of a time with her final. Good Luck!

My friend had Esche for clinicals last semester and she was fine with her. Just review the A&P of everything you will cover to be better prepared. You must be on your toes in lecture also, her tests are somewhat difficult. But you can do it --I did:) :yeah:

Hey ya Tasha, sorry I did not get a change to talk with you the other morning at work, it was a mad house:no:. Along with the above post, she is really big on what will you see, what will you do. You need to be on your toes with her exams. Read, read, read those chapters before class try your hardest to understand them. If you are unsure about anything, makes notes, tape her lectures and listen to them! After you read and study those chapters, do NCLEX questions in relation to the information. I will look thru my notes to see if there is anything I can e-mail you. Can you please send me you e-mail addy again?

By the way, what is the NUR number again? It is NUR 119? HA! it is becoming a distant memory.
