  1. Thank you ccb84. I will be myself and hope my sincerity and genuine kind nature come through. I will let you guys know how it went. It will take place next week. Crossing my fingers!:redpinkhe
  2. Thank you for your reply. I will do that. I really want and need this job. I want them to know how I am eager to learn and will dedicate all of my energy into performing my job. I just hope it comes through and not just my nervousnous.
  3. Thank you Smileymimi! I will do that. I just hope my nervousnous doesn't show through. Getting to the second interview is a positive step but I just can't help feeling nervous. Maybe it's because I really need and want this job. Thanks again and if there is anything, anything you remember or comes to mind please don't hesitate to share it with me.
  4. Hello all! After months and months of sending out resumes I finally had my first interview today for an RN position on a Med/Surg floor at a local hospital. Let me tell you, I was NERVOUS! But I really wanted the position and God only knows how hard it is to even get an interview-- I GAVE IT MY ALL! I met with the nurse manager who was a very nice woman. Well to my delight she wants me to come to a second interview! She said the second interview is a peer interview. I think I am more nervous now than I was before I interviewed the first time:eek:(lol). Does anyone know what types of things they ask and what they are really looking for? I really want this job. I want them to see that I am really enthusiastic about this. My family's financial situation is at its all-time low and if I don't land this job I don't know what we will do. Please help me with any ideas, thoughts, questions, answers or anything that comes to mind. I appreciate your time reading this.

  6. Hi littlelight98. Just sent them to you. Good luck.
  7. I'm not going to lie to you, it was a challenge for me the whole way thru. I did shed many tears. But I will tell you this, in the begining it is all new and it all sounds so complicated--but now in my final semester it is all starting to come together. All thru nursing school I felt like, "when is it going to click, i don't understand it all." Now in my final few weeks of school left, i think it is just starting to "click" now. It somehow started to come together. Stay strong, if I can make it--anyone can!
  8. Yes, you are absolutely right! After those two stressful years I shouldn't care if it is in my garage!!:chuckle
  9. Hello! To anyone who has ever attended WCCCD pinning ceremony either as a graduating student or a guest, please tell me your opinion of it. Where did it take place and was it nice? Thanx
  10. My friend had Esche for clinicals last semester and she was fine with her. Just review the A&P of everything you will cover to be better prepared. You must be on your toes in lecture also, her tests are somewhat difficult. But you can do it --I did:)
  11. Thanks for your help. How do I send a PM? I am sorry I am not familiar with it.Thanks again.
  12. Future Nurse 35, I have my final exam next week which includes mostly renal. Do you have any advice for me on how to study or how to prepare. I have to pass this test with at least an 80%. Any help would be appreciated.
