Waking up.

What is the loudest alarm clock you have ever had? Which one works for you? Please state brand and model#. Thanks.

P.s. How many hrs of sleep do you all usually get?

If you want to make sure you don't sleep through your alarm clock, set an alarm for your phone too :)

You know that is really funny because my phone is the culprit of all of this! LOL :lol2:

Phone is definitely the loudest, having a high screechy pitch. I usually have 3 alarms on clinical, seeing as you pretty much fail if you miss one, power outage can knock out the TV/Alarm clock though so I always paranoid to have my cellphone alarm activated despite it destroying my mornings.

I have alarms set on my alarm, my cellphone and my iPod Touch. My regular alarm is pretty loud, but my boyfriend's alarm scares the heck out of me in the morning.

My alarm is a GPX D530, and my boyfriend has a GE 7-4852A. Both are several years old, so I don't know if they make them anymore, but you could check. :)

Timex Extra Loud Alarm Clock - bought at Bed Bath & Beyond - around $12 I think. I've NEVER been late for class or clinicals in almost 2 years! It's SUPER loud!

I use my cell phone with the most obnoxious ring tone. I feel like I wake up to a heart attack every time I use it.

Some nights I get 3-4 (I get up for work at 0430), other nights 9-10 (This term my classes all start at noon or later).

I set my alarm clock (which is 5 mins early) AND my cell phone alarm clock. So first I get waken up by the alarm clock (hate that sound) and if I'm not up by 5 minutes, my phone, laying next to me, will blare Mariah Carey's "Obsessed"
