Wake Tech Fall 2020

CONGRATS on getting into Wilson CC! How long do you have to accept Wilson’s? If it’s more than a week, it couldn’t hurt to wait In my opinion since wake tech has the highest NCLEX pass rate of the 3 you mentioned.

Also IDK why it puts CONGRATS in caps LOL

I got the letter on Friday ... and I did primarily want to get into Wake's program because of that high pass rate ... I guess I could wait a few more days just in case. If need be I guess I could back out of Wilson's program even though I do live in Wilson. The NCLEX pass rate at Wake tells me they are doing something a little better than other schools.

Also, because of COVID-19, I wonder how they are going to do orientation and the math session. I was an alternate last semester (for Spring 2020 class) so I wonder how different everything will be regarding that now.

It's all good ... now that I think about it, I do have some time to decide even though I've already paid for my background check. Guess I was too excited to wait LOL. Guess I'll keep waiting a bit longer to see what kind of response Wake sends me.

as for the orientation, I guess they Will have to do it online on zoom or something

Basically they have you buy a book on calculating dosages, and then meet and go through a “homework” that they put up online. You don’t turn in the paper or anything though. They just have volunteers come up to the front to answer them. There is an actual test on the info like a month-ish into school though.

I also received my letter from Wilson CC being accepted into the ADN day program!! I am super excited. I too was hoping to get into the Wake Tech program but we have til May 15th I think to decide. If all goes well I hope to see some of you guys soon!

That's awesome. You're the only other person I know that's applied to Wilson CC.

Thanks and same to you!! I also was accepted at Sampson CC ADN program. Wilson was my 2nd choice, Wake Tech being my first. Have you heard anything about Wilsons program?

For some reason it says I didn’t qualify . I’m not sure why . I turned in all paperwork
