hi! I was wondering if anyone has applied to the fall program yet (applications are due end of January)!

Yeah it’s nothing to be worried about. It’s just an email saying your application has been reviewed and told you to schedule an appointment with an advisor if you want to discuss about your points. I think that mean they already started ranking the applicants and we should be hearing back from them soon.

we won’t hear back about if we got in or not until around May ?

I received the same email and set up an appointment to review my application last week. I met with an advisory on Friday through Microsoft teams and he said they have been able to start the rankings process early so letters should go out earlier than usual (April/May). I have 141 points and I’m #3 on the alternates list! Which means I will more than likely be accepted!

Wow! its such great news to know we will be hearing back sooner than usual! do you know how many alternates are accepted each semester by any chance?

He said they take ~7-10 alternates

I spoke to someone in Admissions yesterday who said the range was 180-144. I spoke to a friend of mine who was told me the cut-off was 142…I feel like there is conflicting information being given out, so I’m going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. Good luck everyone!

I just spoke with admission and as of right now the minimum amount of points to be accepted is 142! so it looks like your friend was right, he also told me we should hear back around April/May and that they send out 30-40 alternates letters but anticipate anywhere from 7-15 to get in!

That sounds like the most consistent number...looks like with a little luck on my side I’ll be an alternate with 141. Thanks for the info ?

Not 141…140

I just spoke with them and they said the minimum was 142 too! they told me my ranking as well, it’s nice to know what ranking you are but it’s not definite until that letter comes… May can’t come any faster LOL!

Hi if you guys don’t mind me asking, what is your ranking so far?

I emailed admissions to try to clarify the numbers (I know they need to be careful and somewhat diplomatic because everything isn’t finalized…. But I was told the cutoff was around 143 and I was number 93 with 140 points and would have a good chance at an alternate letter but not an acceptance letter. If not this time, I’ll make it next time. I guess I made the mistake of taking the most challenging professors to actually push myself and learn something. ..but now it’s kicking my ***…no grade inflation here.

im also applying with 140 points, im wondering how they are able to pick the order of where the alternates go…. I guess I’m jsut nervous to see how many alternates will get in this semester, fingers are crossed

I think they then go by TEAS scores.

if not this time, we will make it next time!

I honestly believe if we want it, we will make it we just have to keep pushing…We’ve made it this far. Let’s get it.
