Waiting in WI

Hello again everyone~

I just finished up all of my requirements (CNA, NLN exam, College Chemistry, Background check, ect) for the wait list at Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Based on the current standing I won't start core nursing until Fall of 2010. Can anyone fill me in on the waiting lists in other areas? Is there any school that I could start in the Fall of 2009? Thanks!

Jen

Jen,

Have you tried NTC in Wausau? Not sure what their waiting list is like these days...

Just remember: no matter what they tell you about dates, it is not set in stone! I got in a year+ earlier than I was told I would at NTC.

Good luck!

Call and talk to the adminstrative assistant in the health office and ask if she//he thinks you will get in sooner. I think your wait time sounds better than most of the tech schools in the area. Good luck!

I'm in the nursing program at Nicolet in Wisconsin. I was told also I would start a year later. A lot of students decided not to enter the program so I was bumped up. I know most schools in Wisconsin have waiting lists. You can take some of the core classes before hand if you want. Pharm. and Fundamentals can be taken so you could have a head start. Nicolet has a good program and the instructors are great and always there to help you. Good Luck.
