0.8 vs. 1.0 EFT - difference in pay

Hi,

Just wondering what the difference in pay is for a nurse working 0.8 vs. 1.0 in Victoria, Australia?

    Not that much, check the ANMF website if you are a member. It depends on what year you are post registration.

    Look at it this way. 80% of the pay of a full time person. So there will be a slight reduction in taxes paid.

    It will also depend on the number of shifts worked in a pay period per shift pattern. To give you an idea, I work a .5 over a four week roation, so in theory I have five days pay per pay cheque. But it works out that I have one cheque with 6 days and one with four because of the shift pattern.
