Voice Recorder?

Our teachers approved us to be able to record lectures! However, with the plethora of recorders out there I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the best recorder? I want something that can do MP3, and eventually convert to disc on my computer.

    I just grabbed one from Target, it wasn't expensive.
