Ventilator training/classes

Does anyone in the Hudson Valley area of NY know of any ventilator training classes? I'm seeking agency work (as that is all that is available in my area) and without this experience I'm not being considered for jobs that I am otherwise qualified for, I'm hoping that some training would open the door to some more interviews. Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

    never heard of such outside of college curriculum for respiratory therapists. Try contacting a hospital Educator in your area to get some input. Also, ask someone in HR for the facilities where you applied how to make contact with an educator for this or what agency/association/school offers the training that they require? If they require it they ought to know who provides it.

    Some HH agencies (maybe not yours) offer CEU type training courses that you seek. May need to try outside your immediate regional area. They usually offer these courses as a prelude to employment opportunities.
