sorry guys this one is gonna be kinda long..... i am so excited about getting into nursing school and excited to start my new classes next week, but i cant help but feel a little stupid when it comes to my track record of employment. i have messed up time after time not realizing that i had good jobs and i alos took my training and skills for granted. i have just made a new resume wih the help of my school. on my resume i dont speak of any jobs that i had because the jobs i had relevant to my training i only kept for 4 or 5 monts at the most. i really want to let employers know that i am serious and that i have many good qualities but my resume doesnt say that. i was wondering if i should keep my resume the way it is(without work experience) or if i should include some of my eperience. i dont know what to do..... i just wish i could turn back the hands of time. i am thinking f trying to go back to past employers.... but i dont think they will have me back. any advice anyone????

You are accepted into school and soon to start down the road to a better life...Sure-you made mistakes-we all have....I believe that your resume should be complete-you need to account for all of your time....Good luck

You are embarking on a new path in your life. The important thing is you know what you want to do with the rest of your life, many people go on wondering all their lives. Maybe you could try to get a job as a cna later and start to build some references and possible job offers once you are out of school, even if it's only part time or perdiem.(that's how i got started) Good luck!!!
