Hey is there a way I can get a loan to pay the $1000 I’m having trouble saving up for it

If you have a 401k you can make an emergency withdrawal because it's for school

Will anyone be able to tell me How long do they give you to pay the 1000 deposit after you take the test and passed?

Anybody starting review classes tomorrow ? Also do you think they’ll have more test dates in June? My coworker wants to take the exam but it shows the last test date without the review was May 18th

The test is the easiest level of the TABE test. I will suggest not to spend money on the practice test; save that money for the down payment you need to put down if accepted. Make sure you have enough financial aid and that you contact fafsa yourself just in case the financial advisor try to pull some game. The test is really basic adding, dividing, multiplying and subtracting fractions (less than 6 fraction questions). The main thing is keep your money because they have no issue keeping yours just in case your financial aid is not intact.

Taking my exam tomorrow. Is the math portion multiple choice or fill in ?

The whole exam is multiple choice

Just received a letter in the mail with the orientation dates. July 31st and August 29th. Says we need to bring $20 for IDs and my class section is 2A

Awesome! I’ll be in 1b. I can’t wait, hope to see all of you soon!

I can't wait either. It's starting to get real

Hi I have wanted to apply to veeb but I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get a job in a hospital after. People have said they are facing out LPN’s. I can apply to Nassau for the RN program but I know it is hard to get in and will take a long time before I can start working. I am an older student (42) and have 3 kids. I just don’t want to make a bad decision and waste time and money. There is an entrance exam for veeb on June 26. I think that is probably the last one for the year. I need a good job when I am done too to pay back the student loan. Any advice woul$ be greatly appreciated:)

Hospitals are harder for lpn, but they always need them in nursing homes, and private care. You’ll get a decent job after, just gotta work harder if you want to work in a hospital.... Good luck!
