How long is the NCLEX-RN certificate valid? I mean I know someone who passed it in 1995? Is it still valid? :)

Have you paid your licensure fees in a state since then?

Once you take and pass NCLEX, you never have to retake the exam. They do need to keep up their license in what ever state that they were licensed in. If they haven't kept their license, they may need to take a refresher course.

Hi Suzanne, You said that once you take and pass the NCLEX, you don't have to retake it but from what i just heard from my agency here in Manila that after you passed the said exam it would require you to pass another exam which is the TSE within a two year period just in case you still don't have it. How true is this? Is it the same as the CGFNS relative to the TOEFL and TWE? Please give me information on this matter? By the way, I already pass my NCLEX december of last year. Thanks a lot and God Bless!
