Valencia Fall 2019

Good morning everyone! I’m happy to have found this thread to figure out when the emails went out. Transferring my educational stuff and dealing with Valencia earlier this year has been a huge pain. Lol I applied for the advanced track nursing, for paramedic to R.N., so hopefully they send those acceptance emails today! The wait is killing me!! Haha. Congrats to you all who have already been accepted.

Has anybody else got the acceptance email for daytime at west campus?

Hey guys!!! So latest update I got from someone at Valencia was this:

I know that seats were offered yesterday for the students next in line for the upcoming semester. If we receive declines, we will continue to offer seats up to Monday, July 15, 2019. I would recommend that you continue to monitor Atlas e-mail. The mandatory orientation is on Tuesday, July 16, 2019and we do not offer any news seats after orientation

good luck to those who got in and for those who didn’t, hopefully we start in fall!

I almost want to think that it means we’re waitlisted for the upcoming semester

@hopefulnursingstudent24thank you so much for giving an update! I will be kind of disappointed if I didn't get in for fall, but there is a bright side that we can use the fall semester to save up $$$. I don't qualify for financial aid and I am trying to take out as little loans as possible if I have to take any. Also we can get a head start on learning dosages calculations and other things to prep for the program.

Of course girl! An email just went out with an update

Didn’t get in to either programs, and congratulations to everyone who did ?

Both emails says,

”Our records show that your applied for the Valencia College Traditional Daytime/Evening Nursing Program. We have offered our initial seats for the Fall 2019 term, and your application was not selected at this time. If a seat becomes available before the July 16th, 2019, Program Orientation, we will contact the next eligible applicant. Please continue to monitor your Atlas email account for further updates.

If you are not contacted by July 16th, 2019, your application will continue to be active and you will be contacted via Atlas email when a seat is available. We cannot predict what term a seat will become available and thank you for your patience.”

? it will be alright. This just means that you will for sure get into Spring 2020.

Random question...but does anyone know if the Anatomy and Physiology 1 (BSC 2093C) and Anatomy and Physiology 2 (BSC 2094C) classes at Valencia transfer over to UCF? I was looking at doing the Florida College System Concurrent online ASN-BSN program. I don't think they transferred for the traditional BSN, but I was wondering for the 2 concurrent programs. I'm kind of confused.

Did anyone receive anything else from Valencia after they accepted their seat? Just wondering if there was supposed to be an automated response. For those waitlisted-I got a call for Summer the day before orientation, it is still possible to get a spot.

@Hispromiseremains I applied to the UCF traditional BSN and the concurrent for fall and both those classes transferred fine. ?
