UW BSN program 2015

Shellybaumer, I called on thursday and they told me they were sending decisions on the 15! I hope that's not the case! :S

I doubt they will go out so late, because according to this page on their website, BSN admits for 2015 need to submit their "intent to register" form by 4/17. This would be impossible if they waited that long to notify accepted students.

May we all receive good news soon!

It took three days for them to answer my email so I trust the date they gave me. I would image that someone answering the phone is told to give the stock answer of "by the 15th".

I agree with both of you, I was shocked when the person on the phone told me that. We all have to be patient now, god knows we have come along this far already!

Rococo, did you get your SU letter?

I can't sleep...I just want to know! My landlord is patiently waiting for me to tell her if I'm renewing my lease and it's all dependent on UW. This is a true test of patience.

Shelleybaumer, I did not get accepted at SU it was a crude surprise since I had A's on all prerequisites and experience they weren't asking for. Their letter bummed me out so much, I got sick. I've heard they give priority to Seattle university students...so it's disappointing I didn't get in because I'm a transfer.

That is true patience! The lengths we go to fulfill our dreams is worth it even if it means never giving up.

I worked SO hard to get into UW, I'm sure you did too. Let's hop they give us the opportunity to shine as great nurses.

Keep your spirits up!! We are going to know soon. I keep checking my mail even though I know that they won't send the letters around April 7. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

I'm sorry about not getting into SU, but like court2889 says, keep your spirits up! It's hard to take it in stride when we've worked our butts off to get this far. The fact that we've chosen such a competitive major means we won't give up, right!?

I got another email for some reason telling me that letters will be sent on the 7th. One more week...well for me it'll be how ever long it takes for the letter to get up here.

No matter what though...we'll all look like this guy>> before we know it!

You and I both! I am in Boston so it typically takes snail mail 4-5 days to get to me! haha.

Not to beat a dead horse...but Adrian Acosta sent me an email today that the committee is making final decisions on Friday. Our fates will be determined on April 3rd! I think they've answered my question three times now, but I don't mind!

Hey Rococo, I have to ask something I've been wondering for a while now - is your name in reference to the musical/artistic rococo period?

Shelleybaumer, it is in reference...sort of! I studied art history as electives and learned about the Rococo art period. I only know about the architecture and paintings of the era, not music. I fell in love with it and loved the warm vintage look of it.

there is also a song by one of my favorite bands called Rococo, by far one of my top 5 favorite songs.

I thought no one would know what my name meant :)
