UTMB Spring 2023

Hello I have been looking for a thread for utmb Spring 23. I am still working on my application well just my personal statment. You have great stats. 

My stats are 92 TEAS 3.5 GPA

Thanks for making this forum! Does anyone know when we should expect to hear back? I'm already anxious even though it's still June. 

Fellow applicant here ? Seems like the school extended the deadline to 7/1(used to be 6/1) so we probably won't hear back for a while. Maybe August?

Oh yea I seen that too they extended the deadline. Hey @nfe how was the process from last time you applied?  

Hello, I am a bit panicked about the deadline. I know it’s passed, but I finished my application very late (a couple days before July 1st), so I haven’t received the supplemental application yet. Does anyone know if this means I didn’t technically meet the deadline??? I can’t find any specific info about this saying whether just submitting your application on NursingCAS counts as finishing the the deadline or not. This is my first time using it and I didn’t know this would be the case! Totally freaking out here! ?

I think when you do get the email for the supplemental app you’ll do that. then you’ll get an email about setting up your MyStar account and after you do that you will be able to see when your app processed. IDK if this helps, I’m sorry you’re freaking out. 

Thank you for responding so quickly! Yeah I see from other forums that that’s how it works. Applying to UTMB was a last minute decision, hence I did it very late once I heard about the deadline extension. I received an email earlier today from UTMB saying I should receive an email within the next four weeks with the supplemental application. I want to hope since it’s called “supplemental” that it’s okay to be done after the deadline? Especially considering it can take 4 weeks to be received… IDK ? just trying to be calm about it but the more I think about it the more I worry. Thank you though 

I think you should be okay I did everything late as well actually turned in my application June 30th and received supplement application a couple days later and now it says my application is complete do I think you should be okay. 

That actually weirdly concerns me more because that’s the same day I submitted mine on NursingCAS and I only just today received an email saying they’ll send the supplemental one soon ? still helpful though so thank you
