  1. Thanks for the info! For class days- do we need to wear all black scrubs or any color is okay? Do most of the class wear scrubs or business casual?
  2. Is there a list of all the supplies we need to get before class starts (shoes, stethoscope, etc)? If not I hope they send out one soon ?
  3. For vaccines- I took the list to my PCP. First she tested titers to see if I needed any. Then I got the vaccines I needed thru her office. She said she gets this request all the time so she knew exactly what to do. I'd recommend getting titer to see if you are immune first, and then get the vaccine if needed. Also if I remember right TB test is a yearly requirement so if you do it now it would expire next Sep and you'd need another one in the middle of your clinicals. So I plan to do it mid Nov. For the drug test one- I uploaded the signed form and it's now showing complete. So I think thats all we need to do!
  4. I got mine from Roxell EMT as well but in Katy. Very straight forward and organized.
  5. I got in as well. So happy! Congrats everyone!!
  6. During our interview day they did say we'd hear back by end of this week, right??? Or did I imagine it?
  7. I am both looking forward to and extremely terrified.
  8. Really hoping we'd hear back by tomorrow... It's been a pretty anxious week! UoH is my first choice.
  9. Thanks for being here!! It's so great to have someone that's currently going through the program! Do you mind letting us know what a typical schedule for you is every week? How many days of class from what time to what time, clinicals, etc. We know it can be quite intense but if you could give us an idea just how busy you are, that'd help a lot! Also I did hear in previous years that quite a lot of people drop out of the program due to the intensity. Can you also please let us know the size of your cohort to start and how many there are left currently?
  10. Does anyone remember from the info session how much the total tuition is? It's been a while for me but I vaguely remember somewhere around 30K? Thanks you:)
  11. Did everyone send their TEAS to both Nursingcas and the school or just Nursingcas? I just uploaded my 7 page report to Nursingcas and didn't send it to the school...
  12. I have no idea what that is! Did they send it to you asking to sign or was it part of the application package? All I have from UfH was the email I got after I submitted the nursingcas application saying the application is under review.
  13. I did have a resume. I applied on 5/28 before the original 6/1 deadline. After 6/1 the school actually extended the deadline to 7/6, so for me I actually heard back way later than I expected. In previous years they sent out acceptance letters around end of June.
