I wonder if they sent out acceptance and denial letters as well? My application status still says pending.

Yes, I interviewed on Monday. I'm really shocked because I don't see anybody that has an acceptance letter. It's just weird....I hate to be so negative, but I guess they really didn't think I fit the bill.

I feel like mine is pretty much a denial letter. Do they send denial letters out after you interview?

I'm curious too. I just checked my mail and I didn't get anything. My econnect also says "Pending" still. I don't think Econnect gets updated as often sometimes. In the BACC2 thread, everyone said their Econnect said pending after they got their acceptance emails.

everpark - I understand. It's tough because you never know exactly what different schools are looking for. Like I said though, a wait list is by no means the end. I'd suggest calling UTMB tomorow to get if you can get any details. I'm not sure how they handle it, but some schools will give you what number you are on the wait list, and usually if you have a really low number (like a single digit) then you might have a pretty good shot.

Thanks Aggie2005, I will call tomorrow and see if they can give me an idea of where I am. And why I got waitlisted before any acceptances were notified.

Yes it says they put me on a waitlist.

I hope they sent out acceptance/denial letters as well! Hopefully the rest of us will get ours tomorrow. The wait is KILLING me!!

I talked to the admissions advisor who was out last Thursday and Friday and she said Wednesday they were preparing the letters to be sent out for acceptance and denials. Hopefully they get to us today!!!!

Wow! We should find out soon. I can't wait for the mail to get here today!
