Congratulations Courtney!! It must be such a relief!

I am relieved. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get in because my interview was only 20 minutes long and I saw others had a 45 minute interview. I'm also pregnant so I thought that was working against me. I'm due in November so I'll have the baby before school starts. I wish everyone the best of luck!!!

Double Congratulations!! I thought you were pregnant! I have 3 kids myself...5, 7 and 10. I'm not sure if that was held against me. Who knows....I guessing it's all up to the interviewer. Good luck on your last month!! Babies are so much fun.....I'd have another if I had more $$$.

Yeah I'm nervous about new baby and new school all at once lol but it'll be worth it later. Thank you for the congrats. I think you'll get in. You seemed to have your stuff together when we met. I doubt they will hold you having kids against you. Especially since they are older and don't require as much care as a newborn.

OK, I just joined the thread and my interview is Friday and you guys have my hands literally shaking. And congrats to everyone that has already been accepted. I have another friend who interviewed the 4th and she is freaking me out and I was actually pretty calm until today!

My interview is at 11, just wanna know if anyone else's is at or near the same time b/c I need someone to talk to while I sit there and wait for my interview to calm my nerves. I'm really glad i found this thread. I wish I would've found it back for Fall 2010. This applying process has been such a BIG headache...but hopefully I reap the rewards of an acceptance letter.

Same here, no mail...I really want to know right now...I recently moved to a new city for a new job that I really didn't want and the only thing that has kept me going is that I will be accepted UTMB Nursing school....

But now I am starting to question if I will get into school...this wait sucks...but I guess the best things come to those who wait....We will see....

Thanks... I hope get into one of the programs.....I really like UTMB, so I hope they pick me up. I haven't read anything about people getting in from the waitlists. How do you know people get in from the waitlists? The girl I talked to on the phone says there is no order for the waitlists? I'm not sure how they select then?

No mail for me either today. I expected an email would get sent before the letters in the mail arrived, but maybe that isn't the case. I just hope to hear something soon.

everpark - I know for sure people off the wait list get into the program. My wife graduated from UTMB and they were calling people off the waitlist up until the night after the first day of orientation (apparently some people didn't show up and never told UTMB they weren't going to attend). You can expect at least some people will end up choosing UT Houston or other schools over UTMB, so spots will open up. I have no clue how they choose who to call off the waitlist, but it does say something that you made it to the interview stage. You sound like a good applicant and I'm sure things will work out, even if it takes a little while.
