UTMB Spring 2011

Hey! My interview is on oct 4th @ 11:30am. Does anyone else have that time?? How many people willbe accepted for the traditional program for the spring??

Mine is Oct. 4th at 11am!! This is my second interview with UTMB. I was placed on a waiting list for the fall, but this is a new chance!

Did they tell you last year why you didn't get in? If you dot mind me asking, what was your teas scores, and gpa's? I'm just kinda wondering what they are looking for.

She actually told me I would get in after the interview, it went SO well! My science GPA was 4.0, Prereq-3.8 overall-3.6. I also had a lot of volunteer experience. I'm pretty sure I didn't get in because I didn't have a TEAS score or maybe because my first year of college I dropped a bunch of classes. I was told they didn't use entrance tests? So I didn't take the TEAS. Needless to say-- extreme disappointment. I wish I knew exactly what they were looking for too!! GOOD LUCK!!

Hi all! I just found this thread and thought it'd be a good idea to join in. I have my interview on October 4th - excited and nervous! Does anyone know if it makes a difference whether your interview is scheduled later rather than earlier on acceptance?

Spring 2011 Applicant Update:

The last day of applicant interviews for Spring 2011 will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010.

Applicants should expect to receive notification regarding admissions for Spring 2011 by Tuesday, November 9, 2010.

That means we will know in one months time that we have been accepted! Get excited people! :w00t:

Is there something we need to bring?? For the interview?

hmm does anyone know why they have scheduled several people for the same time slot? i thought the interview would be face to face. maybe they'll have several faculty interviewing several of us at once?

Bring smiles! and cash for parking. Other than that I don't think so, but if anyone knows otherwise let me know! I believe many people are interviewed by different faculty at the same time.
