UTMB Spring 2010

virginiadawn2 - I sent an e-mail over to them asking if they have sent all the e-mails out and what will be the final day for interviews.

How many are being accepted for the Generic class? 60?

They have to be sending out more invites..they are doin 2 interviews an hour from 830am to 430 pm on Friday. That's only 16 ppl. Assuming they did the same thing last Friday..the total would be 32 ppl.

The class is not full yet and they have to consider the 10 or so that will not accept the invite and/or not pass the interview..

I haven't heard either...and I'm a bit baffled...I thought for sure I would get an interview especially since I got accepted to TWU's program

I know, I haven't heard anything either!I find it a bit odd.I have a high GPA,but i wouldn't be shocked if UTMB messed that up 2.

i don't know guys this is getting to be nerve wrecking! i am just waiting to see what she says. this is torturous. i wonder if they prolong the interview process to give other schools time to report that they are done with the acceptance and denial process. maybe to make sure that the people they accept don't withdraw last minute to attend another school. idk just sitting over here thinking of what the problem is. :thnkg:

Ya, I've heard that UTMB is notorious for passing up on 4.0's. I mean she said they are still looking over applications? WHAT? How are you still looking over applications?

Yeah,it's pretty ridiculous.I'm just happy I already heard from TWU, because I would be very frustrated.

I hope emag is alright too. She hasn't been posting and she was pretty upset about not getting into UT last time she was on here..

I agree, I dunno what passing up on 4.0 is all about.A lot of us work hard to maintain high GPAs because the nursing programs are so competitive.There whole process is just so disorganized.

Don't worry I'm sure you will hear something.And by the looks of things they will continue holding interviews until they fill up all of the spots since I'm sure many ppl will choose other schools since they are taking so long to tell everyone. Have to applied to any other programs?
