UTMB Spring 2010

Yeah I was actually going to san jac today to give them my transcript,because I thought I had to take pathophysiology,until I heard the new information.San jac kinda far for me,but i was ganna take it online as well,and I saw a Elier,A as the teacher.

I know @ ms.sealy.I didn't see her name either.

thanks Mau00, I thought I took theose course and gen biology too. I will call tomorrow to verify so that I know for sure. But I think my gen biol is kinda old.

Ms Sealy did you read that u might not have to take patho.

jazzynurse2b i'm sure waiting for someone to tell me i don't have to take patho! do you know what that's about ?

I thought I had read it on the website before I applied and then when i went back to look it wasn't there. But now Mau00 talked to one of the advisors today and if you took gen biol or some other chem besides reg chem u don't have to take it. When I originally was going to apply I saw that in the website because I was trying to make sure before I applied I wouldn't have to go back and take more courses.

And I am looking at the website and it doesn't say how long on the sciences anymore either. Im going to have to call tomorrow. The only one I am endanger of is my gen biol

I was telling everyone about that earlier, but it has to be a biology that is not part of the pre-requs. I don't have any extra biology classes

Ohh!! I took gen biol in over 6 yr ago I hope its not going to be a problem.

haha yeah I was stressing out so much on where i was going to take pathophysiology.I was so happy when i called and she told me that.I was thinking about that too.I took general biol Spring 08,Yeah it's no problem and I think this is a lot more convenient for applicants to take another biol at their school without having to apply to another school just to take that class.That's what I was trying to do and it's a hassle.

You should call UTMB to double check.I know alot of nursing schools are starting to give cut off on how old a class is.

Either way I'm stuck taking patho! I need it for another nursing school I'm applying to, as well as Pharmacology. I think its going to help me in nursing school too, hopefully!

It will.I'm still thinking about taking patho anyways just for that reason as well,to help me in nursing school.Where are you taking patho?

I'm taking it at UTA, bc I live in the dallas area :)
