UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

I need advice, please help. So the deadline for Spring 19 is April 30th. I just took the TEAS and did not do so well. 74% to be exact but I won't be able to retake it before the deadline. Should I send in my application with the score anyways? specially since I started the nursingca application already and even paid the 65.00 for them to input my grades. I am at a lost right now. I will retake the TEAS regardless, but won't be able to before the deadline, because I think you have to wait 30 days between test.

Not true. I emailed ATI about this last year they told me there's no wait time. She told me they have no rules (only schooled put out the rules).

Then they need to change their website, because on the ATI website it says you have to wait 21 days.

Yes, I saw that too! But I think I then realized that wasn't the real website of ATI. That's why I decided to email them cause i wasn't sure.

Oh interesting! I've already taken it, but that's def confusing. Maybe 21 days is just a safe rule of thumb then but not required. I have heard most schools discourage taking it sooner than 3-4 weeks because it's been shown there's not much improvement in that time frame so maybe that's where that came from. Who knows!

I took my second TEAS attempt 7 days after the first because I wanted to boost my reading score - no problem whatsoever.

I submitted my supplemental application as a Spring 2019 applicant a couple of days ago and the wait already feels brutal.

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.36

Science: 3.45

Teas Overall Scores:80%,79.3%

Science-78%, 78%

Attended 4-year university for prereqs, pretty active as a student ( O-team, did research, volunteered at TCH) . I messed up my first semester, which is why my GPA is bad Finishing the rest of my pre reqs this semester and then planning on taking my elective science during the fall.BLS certified.

I attended the open house a couple of weeks ago and I fell in love with the staff and environment. Anyways, looking forward to getting to know some of you through this forum! (:

The wait has just started for you! I applied for the fall and still haven't heard back! So this is why I applied for the spring as well! Good luck to you!

I know it sucks These upcoming months are going to be the longest. but wow really?? I would've thought they would've told everyone by now if they got accepted/denied. Did you have an interview? what are your stats like?

My stats are okay but not great I also messed up my first semester in college and I regret it lol

I'm taking biology now so

Science gpa w/our science 3.3 with 3.4

Overall 3.2 with biology and another class I'm taking should bring it to a 3.3.

Teas 84.7

Reading 72

Math 93

Science 91

English 79

I'm praying I get in if not maybe waitlisted for spring.

Hey there, returning from the Fall 2018 forum! I was denied for Fall w/o an interview so I am praying for a different outcome this time around. I retook my TEAS and did much better and have added 2 As to my GPA. I also revamped my statement and some of my answers to the questions. I think I really rushed through it last time and didn't write as well as I could. I did not add my resume last time either, so I made sure to add it this time. I think that makes a difference in your overall picture as well. So hopefully these are positive changes. I noticed that my app was verified right away, I guess because I was reapplying. It took forever last time. Let the waiting begin guys!
