UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

I got an email about this, too. I am wondering if this means we are on the waitlist! I had my interview for the waitlist last Friday.

Does anyone have any info on how many people they generally pull from the waitlist? Like an average number each term? Any info would help me :)

I honestly think it just depends on how many people decide not to accept utmb! Id say the only way to know is look at past forums lol but that's a lot of reading!

I would expect this number to be very low; since the admission is so competitive and UTMB is such a great school, not many people would withdraw their application. my $0.02

Hello all. I still have not received an answer from UTMB (Fall 2018 term). I am quite nervous. I do not know why I did not receive anything as of yet. Very strange -- but I am remaining hopeful. Anyone on the same ship? Any advice at this point in time?

Has anyone heard anything new?!

I would imagine you hearing something this coming week, or the next. I just heard something for the first time about 2 weeks ago, so I wouldn't worry too much! I know this isn't unusual based on past forums either, unfortunately.

Nothing new on my end. In past forums, do you all see a trend? Has anyone gotten this far only to hear nothing? People who have heard nothing thus far in past forums, was the news bad? TIA.

I am hoping to hear something this next week from UTMB and UT Houston. I got my fingerprinting done yesterday, May 18th.

Good morning. Has anyone heard anything back for the Fall 2018 term? Awaiting an answer for Spring 2019 as well.

Haven't heard anything in the past week.

Hello, everybody. It seems that posts here are more scarce. Is that due to nobody hearing back for the Fall 2018 term? I have not heard back. Applied for Spring 2019 as well and I am active on the forum.
