UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

I just did too. I don't know what this means and I don't know if I really should hope for spots to open up or what?

Hope for the best, expect the worst.

Did you have an interview?

I'm still waiting *sigh*

yes I did have an interview back on March 28th. I have a 3.5 GPA, but got an 82.7 on the TEAS. I do have experience as a CNA but I guess my scores weren't enough. Good luck to all!

mine stats were about the same and I had my interview on march 29.

Thank you! I'm 19 and I applied to UTMB and UTH and I am just very confused, overwhelmed and pretty upset right now. Trying to go with my back up plan, but I was just really hoping for UTMB.

I'm confused my gpa isn't as good as yours (3.3) my teas was an 84.7. I didn't get an interview but I haven't been denied either.

I am so nervous. I have not heard anything back, and I interviewed March 19th.

I was put on the waitlist and well. I have a 3.75 GPA and a 82 on the Teas. I have a 3.8 on the sciences. I'm hoping for the best. In the email it had said the spots for fall are full and if a spot was to open, itll open before orientation.

Right!!!

I just called! She said another two weeks or so till we all know.

I am not sure why they didnt. I was just delivering the message from the email. I apologize for the upset. I completely understand. I wish they would just send emails and not play the waiting game with everyone. Its cruel.

I wonder why they haven't sent out the rejection letters. Does that mean they haven't sent out all acceptance letters either if the spots are full?
