UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

    Yeah that is crazy! This is the last wave of interviews! They probably wont start anything for spring 2019 until july!

    overall GPA 3.58

    science 3.25 (will go up, im currently taking bio as my elective science)

    Teas 1st take : 74.0

    Reading 72.3

    math 84.4

    science 83.0

    english 45.8

    Teas second take: overall 77.3

    reading 74.5

    math 93.8

    science 70.2

    english 66.7

    I think my GPA and my statement is what is giving me the boost!

    What does the email say? If you don't mind me asking? Or at least the subject. I'm so sad that this is the last wave I was really hoping to get an interview.

    Its from Chelsea L. Jones. and the subject says Invatiation to interview - fall 2018

    Dear Applicant,

    We are pleased to announce that you have been selected to interview for admission to the Fall 2018 BSN Traditional Program.

    then it lists dates and times when you can interview.

    I was told they are still reviewing and applicants will be notified over the next 3-4 weeks if not sooner. Not getting an interview is not an automatic denial and getting an interview, is not an automatic admission. I do believe that getting an interview gives better chances of getting accepted though.

    See my post above. I was told this yesterday. She said more interviews will be done and apparently more invites went out today.
