UTMB Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to make this post because I didn't see a thread for those who are applying to UTMB Galveston Fall 2018. I know application hasn't open yet, but I just took my teas score. I have no idea if it is good enough for UTMB standards. I currently have 40 hours, but by the end of this semester I will have around 53 credit hours. I have no idea how I should even start my personal statement. Would you guys be willing to share your stats? Any questions or comments please feel free to post! :)

My stats are

TEAS:

82% Overall

-Reading: 85.1%

-Math: 87.5%

-Science: 78.7%

-English and Language Use: 75.0%

GPA: 3.9 Overall

@Camcamm, how do you know there is 30 people in the interview e-mail that was sent out when they do personal e-mails?

For some reason I could see a list of emails that got the message.

When is the latest appointment you could schedule for?

March 9th

@CamCamm according to friends who have gotten accepted, past forums, and UTMB themself, people only get a personal e-mail, so I don't know how it is possible for you to see others, that just seems very weird.

I'm sure the school probably CC emails instead of Bcc them ,,allowing cam to see the entire email list of the other applicants. A possible mistake on the schools end.

I also believe the school made the mistake and CC'd the email instead of BCC which allowed them to see everyone.

Does anyone know if there will be more emails sent out for interviews? Or if we didn't get an interview email a few days ago that just means we won't get an interview at all?

In past forums, they said interview emails go out in waves. So just because you didn't get one this go around doesn't mean you won't get one.

In previous threads interviews did not go out until March so this time around its looks like they went out pretty early. I also read there is like 4 waves of interviews. So keep your heads up everyone and stay positive!

Interviews will go out heavy in March & April, but continue into May and even sometimes past that. I know the waiting game stinks. Hang in there & try to enjoy this time before fall. ;)

Sincerely,

A current UTMB nursing student that should be studying instead of replying on allnurses :bag: (I wasn't here)

Good Luck!!!
