UTMB FALL 2015

Hello everybody! Just got finished with my interview and it wasn't that stressful. The questions were:

What are your study habits?

If you are struggling in a class, what would you do? Say THE TEACHER WOULD BE THE FIRST TO NOTIFY.

Are there any other priorities that will get in the way of your studies?

What challenges do you fear with nursing school?

I asked at the end of interview on the waves of interviews and she said, "they said that this is our last wave but it could change". I also asked if you are interviewed, what are the chances of you getting in and she said, "Not everybody that we interview gets in. There are about 40 of us and I alone have interviewed 10 people so it's not a guarantee".

The wait is really stressing me out, I've been waiting for over a month and a half now to hear back after my interview. This is ridiculous!

I'm getting scared reading all of the posts. currently I'm a student with LSC-Kingwood and I am taking all of my prerequisites for the BSN at UTH-Medical Center, but I am also planning to apply to LSC-Kingwood next year in the summer 2016. I am petrified about the selection process, I don't have a good GPA since I came back to school after having kids and changing careers, but I'm slowly bringing it back up. It was more of having dropped classes in the past due to my work schedule. But I am doing great now, what do they look as far as classes, GPA and HESI scores? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

So I called yesterday (again lol) and I was told all acceptances would be out by the end of May, that they plan on wrapping everything up then.

Does anyone know if they are still giving out interviews?

of everyone who is still waiting for a decision, when did you have your interview? been waiting for exactly 3 weeks now and I'm getting anxious jitters

@damarti my interview was March 13th. I've been waiting for almost 2 months. Hang in there!

I've been waiting for 3 weeks now also!

I've been waiting for 3 weeks, going into the 4 week this week! Will be exactly 1 month on the 10th.

1 week here.

I had an interview on April 10th.....still waiting..do not know what to do?
