I got my acceptance letter as well! I am from the Houston area. Congratulations!

Me too!!! I got my acceptance letter on 12/11 ? I am also in the Houston area. I got my BSN from UTMB back in 2017.

I received my letter as well. Have any of you all heard anything about the program? Also the only email correspondence I have received has been about setting up or student account and sending back our response about accepting a seat.

How long did it take them to let you know that you got accepted? I just submitted my application yesterday. Thanks!

I applied for the priority deadline so I was the first found reviewed, got the letter I think 2 weeks after saying I was accepted.
I also have not heard anything from the school since emailing my acceptance, had to re email asking for confirmation that they received my acceptance paperwork. Since receiving confirmation I haven’t heard anything from the school.
I’m too excited so that’s just annoying not hearing anything but completely normal!

What’s the acceptance rate for AGACNP in UTMB? Or how many students do they accept? Thanks!

I applied 11/12/19 and found out I was accepted 12/11/19. So a month later!

I’m not sure of the acceptance rate. I’ve heard we take the some of the same classes as the FNP students and then we will eventually branch off into our acute care specialty.

Does anyone know the pass rate for the certification exam for UTMB? I saw they posted on their Facebook recently that FNP was 99%, NNP 100%, and primary care NP was 96%. But nothing about acute care NP.

Honestly I’m not sure, I do know that the AGACNP program is significantly smaller than the other specialties offered and more competitive. To get real numbers by specialty and acceptance rates and such i would contact the school directly because they don’t have it on their website like other schools do.

Thanks guys! :)
