UTMB Accelerated Program Summer 2014

I got accepted for the Spring 2014 semester! Good luck to you all!!!

@TxnPari I just got the teas test book and did the practice exams and I felt like they were pretty much the exact same format. I only studied for the two weekends before the exam, but took about 5 practice tests. That is what helped me the most.

Yea, i am not going to rush to take it tomorrow....i will end up taking it next week. This will def give me a chance to get some studying in and do some practice tests.

Did you interview? If so what were some of the questions they asked?

@kris: CONGRATS again. So, about how long did it take from when they sent you the mystar info before you were called for an interview?

What kind of stuff did they ask at the interview that u think we should prepare for? (if you do not mind sharing)

My exam is next week....so hopefully once they get that in....it should get my application ready for review. Everything else is complete except for the exam score.

Hi! I am also applying to the summer 2014 program as a back-up, in case I don't get in to the other two programs I applied to (which would begin in January 2014). Wish I would have learned about the spring 2014 option at UTMB sooner, too!

I'm also applying to the UTMB Summer 14' program. Based off of reading other discussion boards from previous years, it seems like some people are accepted early without having to go through the interview process (these seem to be the strongest applicants), some people are not offered an interview (weeded out at that point in the application process), and the rest are decided on through an interview process. It seems like people interview in January, and find out if they're accepted at the end of January, or February. This is all off of reading other discussion boards and not a legitimate source. :)

I have a 3.9 GPA and scored a 90.7 on my TEAS. Fingers crossed! Good luck to everyone! :)
