UTHSCSA Spring 2015

I haven't seen a thread for the Health Science Center in San Antonio, so I decided to create one since I am curious as to when we will find out if we are accepted or not. I am very nervous! I really want to go to this school but I know a couple of people that didn't get accepted from previous terms that had a better GPA or a better TEAS V score than I do. I am praying!!!

    I haven't received the email about it either. I completed the background check process in August and was notified that I passed. I had to finish it for TAMHSC, so I wonder if that's why I haven't received anything yet. Have you applied to any other nursing schools?

    I'm pretty sure the email about the background check is your "conditional acceptance".

    Hmmm I did one probably a year and a half ago for work so maybe they are using that one? I was going to give it one more day and then call Wednesday if I still haven't gotten it yet... Let me know if you hear anything!

    I would like to think that way too but depressingly it is stated on the email that applicants need to complete the background check ASAP "while you may not be accepted to the program".. TT_TT

    Yeah, I just called and they said some people who complete the background check will still be denied :( The lady I spoke to said we should find out next Tuesday or Wednesday if we are accepted!

    The woman I spoke to said there are about 30 students who have already completed the background check and that is why we didn't receive an email about it. You may want to call just to be safe, but I'm pretty sure you are fine :)

    i bought tickets for ACL and all I want is to have fun and not to be disappointed if I don't get in
