Do you think this program allows the time to work? or is it better to just focus on the program?

Does anybody know if there will be interviews? I heard that they were not doing them anymore and I've also heard they were still doing them. I'm just curious. Anybody know? I'm super nervous! Thank you!

They are not doing the interviews anymore, they use the essays from the application in place of the interview.

I took the TEAS V already also because I also applied to Baptist. I scored an 87.3%. Does anyone know if I retake it will they automatically take the higher score? And is it possible to retake only certain sections?

I went to an open house in December and if I remember correctly, the UTHSCSA advisor guy said that they DO take the second higher score. I doubt you can retake just sections but that's just my uneducated opinion.

I know people that work. I would advise against working full time beyond first semester. I don't think there are enough hours to actually work full time beyond first semester that as your clinical hours go up and work load increases. A part time or PRN job would be best. There is also the possibility of random weekend things you have to go to or even having a weekend clinical so keep that in mind.

You retake the full thing. Your score is extremely competitive though, so I would personally not waste my money provided my GPA was decent.

Hello everyone.. Ive applied for the Fall Start as well. I am active duty Air Force and want to apply through the NECP.. its been difficult for me because Im stationed overseas. I wanted to apply to other schools but most wouldnt let me take the HESI overseas. Im praying that I get an invite for the TEAS, but then I will have to try to figure out how I can take this being over in Germany.

I have a decent GPA 3.6, but Im afraid that one of my transcripts didnt make it there on time. (Ironically its one that wouldnt make a difference in the prerequisites, because its from my Community College of the Air Force). The wait is killing me.. Good luck to everyone!

It really depends on the person. You can always quit if you feel it's affecting your ability maintain your grades.

Here are my schedules from each semester. Keep in mind that the new curriculum y'all are starting has more hours and classes. I have no idea if your 3rd semester is as broken up as ours.

First Semester

Second Semester

Third Semester - First Half

Third Semester - Second Half

Third Semester - Third Half

I'd estimate time reading to be anywhere from 1-6 hours a week depending on how much you do. Reading before the lecture is always the best thing to do, but that can be impossible to do at times, if you're juggling other assignments, a job, or there just might be too much reading to actually finish in a night. Time spent on paperwork is probably about that same amount. I personally don't read very much, but paperwork takes me forever. The lectures/powerpoints tend to be what the test will be about and there are usually blueprints that tell you the spread of questions that will come from each lecture, so that you can focus your time.

Has anyone heard anything yet?
