Welcome Moya211

We moved your thread to the Student NP forum for the best response.

I applied, haven't heard anything yet. Good luck!

Also applied haven't heard anything either. The website said 4 weeks for Grad school processing time. I wonder how much longer after that.

Looking at previous posts I think we have till the end of May before chosen applicants get contacted for interviews. It feels like the end of May is so far away though

Hello. Curious if you all ever heard back from UTEP? I'm thinking of applying for Spring '19 and curious about the process. Thanks!

I still haven't.

But the process for me has been:

submitted application 4 months ago

Received call for interview 6 weeks ago

interview 2 days after

no response 6 weeks out.

That's rough, waiting sucks. At least I know that I was not accepted.

My application status changed on July 5th to "reject". Never even got to interview.

I sent a letter inquiring if there was anything particularly unappealing about my application and was told that my goals and objectives did not appear to match the program. So I'm thinking my letter of intent sucked.

Oh well, just keep swimming.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not get in. I'm wondering if I should even apply because I do not have 2 years of med surg experience. I have 5.5 years L&D/postpartum. Has anyone been accepted that doesn't have the "required experience"?

Texern, did you get an email or just check the site?

I'm annoyed with having to login mutiple times a day to check, I'd rather just wait for an email lol

You may considered calling the graduate school if there is no decision on your application. I got in and my application switched to admit vs under review.

Hokiekim I did, thanks though!

I received an email a day after the status changed on the website.
