UTA-FNP Spring 2018

Just wanted to let everyone know that I received my acceptance letter today for the 1/15 start date. Check your emails!

I start the 1/15 date also. Just got my acceptance email today.

I was told by an advisor that they ask for your resume once your application is submitted. Did anyone have that on their To Do List? I have yet to see anything asking for it to be sent.

I don't remember submitting a resume but I did read on a previous thread that someone had to do that when he applied for an earlier semester.

Hi all! I am in DFW area. FYI I have to submit my resume to prove that I have 2 years RN experience per UTA request. I am planning taking theory on jan 15. Would you like to start a fb page so we can study together?

I will have orientation first, then theory and last Advanced Patho. We can start a Facebook page/group. There are several UTA FNP groups already listed from other classes I guess.

I applied for the Online Post MSN FNP program at UT Arlington and was accepted for the Fall 2017. I had ensured that financial aid was available but right before I was to start I was told it was not available for Post MSN FNP program. I was contacted by another student same program and she was told they do accept financial aid. I waited like 6 months because they mixed up my program and I lost lots of time.

Has anyone heard anything about February 2018 acceptance yet?

I am very frustrated because of there lack of proper communication and conflicting answers to the financial aid issue, I am left to wonder.

More of my classes transferred to UTA and the program required less hours for me with the Post FNP Cert, but I need financial aid.

I'm starting January 15 too! I was told you basically just need to meet the requirements and you're in, so there's that.
