UTA Fall 2013

I thought I would start a thread for those applying to UTA for Fall 2013; AP or on-campus. I will be applying to both and am hoping to find a job at a partnered hospital before the January 5, 2012 deadline.

Um, so does anyone know if BB automatically submitts your grade if the system freezes up and you get bumped out of the exam? Yeah... that is my life. Luckily, it froze on me before I answered the very last question, so I only missed out on answering one. I waited a few minutes, hit refresh, and was redirected back to the BB homepage.

I'm not sure but I would definitely email the professor to make sure she knows what happened.

My grade was counted, but without the last question. She said I did well. So, if the BB gradebook is correct, I should have an A. Whew. Glad it's finally over.

Are any of your transfer students?

I have a previous Bachelors, so technically, I am a transfer student. However, I was required to take many prerequisites at UTA because I have a B.A.

I'm hurting...my grade says I have a....wait for it....88.61, so close. But patho was a good class, learned a lot. Way better than when I took it at Brookhaven. Had to sit through 5 hours of lecture...and watch half the class drop. Everyone around me disappeared. I got a B, but didn't learn anything.

I also have a previous degree but got it from UTA; I still believe I am considered a transfer since about 1/2 of my classes were taken elsewhere.

I have a previous BS ( biochemistry) but I'm considered a transfer student. My first BS was 18 years ago and I had to retake many prerequisites. Honestly, I enjoy school and learning so much more this time around.

Isn't it late April yet?

Hopefully they send the email this Friday!

Oh, man. So sorry. I was just telling my husband...how would someone feel if they earned a 89.99% and got a B in the class, especially when it would be an A in any other dept? That would be a tough pill to swallow. I wonder why UTA does not give "+" or "-" grades. My previous university did, and my husband's alma mater offered A's or A/B's (Which would be like an A-) or B/A (which would be like a B+.) Just seems like someone with a 90.00% should not be "weighed" the same as someone with a 99.99%.

They are sending the letters this week and the lady said the latest you will get them is early next week!!!!

she also said its rare that a 4.0 doesn't get in... but that considerations put you higher on the list so if your a 4.0 that is a transfer students (no considerations) you will most likely get wait listed
